Acts YWA ministry is the Young Working Adults ministry of ACTS Church focusing mainly on the 20-somethings age group bracket and on those under 35 years of age.

Mission Statement

Acts YWA ministry exists to reach and build a Young Working Adult generation that will reflect the DNA and culture of ACTS through four specific focuses of Friendships, Marketplace, Relationships and Giving back to their community; using various winning expressions powered by YWAs themselves for YWAs.

4 Focuses of LIFE

LIFE will constantly be @work in these 4 Focuses:

1. Friendships (and Networking) @work!

How can Acts YWA ministry contribute to the overall vision of ACTS to promote great friendships both in ACTS and beyond ACTS?

Possibilities:

• PGs serve this purpose as well
• Mamak outings
• Sport initiatives
• Birthday celebrations and surprises!
• Social Networking sites eg Facebook, Twitter, etc
• Blogging about sports/food, and other friendship pull-factors!
  

2. Marketplace @work!

How can Acts YWA Ministry contribute to the overall vision of ACTS to see that our YWAs have good jobs and businesses that they excel in, and become great employees, employers and leaders in the marketplace?

Possibilities:

• Compilation of YWA Revo@work testimonies
• Fresh Graduate Support
• Job Opening postings
• Blogging about work-life balance, etc
  

3. Relationships (Romantic) @work!

How can Acts YWA ministry contribute to the overall vision of ACTS for healthy relationships?

Possibilities:

• Organizing a conference on Relationships
• Marketing the conference through the passing out of MTGs on relationships to our colleagues and friends involved in one!
• Documenting stories of how YWAs in relationships are turning out to be
• Specific Blog Spot on relationships
• Using the ACTS BGR Manual to help/counsel current and potential YWA couples
  

4. Giving Back (to Community through ACTS) @work!

How can Acts YWA ministry contribute to the overall vision of ACTS to raise up YWAs that are constantly thinking about OTHERS and the ONE, always being the FIRST to give of their Talent, Time and Treasure?

Possibilities:

• Sowing back into church wide and other age group initiatives
• Taking part in Community projects
• Embarking on Projects that engages with un-churched YWAs
• Acts of Kindness projects (Everyone can do it!)
• Being involved with the numerous Dream Teams that ACTS have!
• Directly and indirectly sponsoring gifts for events
• Blogging about AOK testimonies, responses, feedback.
